yesterday at around 11.36 pm My mum turned into Malaysian TV1 and there is a special announcement made Sultan Iskandar of Johor have passed away yesterday Al Fatihah to him And there will be a 7 day mourning period beginning trw And coincidentally, we will be going to JB the next day man expect a sombre atmosphere so wake up at 8 went out at 9 and found out that the causeway is quite smooth and at the malaysian side of the causeway, there are few mobile escort which will escort a Singapore representative to the funeral of the sultan later found out it was Mr Goh Chok Tong then as i stepped into Kotaraya for breakfast, I can see for the men, they wear black songkok with white strap round it To mourn the death of the sultan as for the ladies, had to put on white headscarves and during mourning period, all entertainment shops had to be closed like arcade, disco, pubs, karaoke and no music is to be played except quranic verses aft breakfast at kotaraya, went to a friends house juz to visit at the same time watched the sultan's funeral on tv It will be held at the palace where many big names came to pay the last respect and lots of leaders from other states, singapore and brunei came to pay the last respects at around 1415 it was moved from the palace to the burial site 2km away from the palace but did nt see fully the ceremony cos had to move to angsana where we bought clothes Now I have some sense of fashion yeahs.... haha In angsana the mood wasnt so lively and all the scheduled stage shows had to be cancelled because of the death then did a brief marketing at giang b4 went home where we kena 100% check by the ICA man why must be us but luckily we never brought anything prohibited maybe we look so tired thats why the ICA tahan us cos they thought we look like drug addicts Imagine the tired face on us Home and tomorrow... well see... |
